Milk from the Duvno Pastures in Meggle Products

What kind of milk do we consume? Where does the raw material come from? What level of quality are we talking about? These are questions that consumers in Bosnia and Herzegovina rightfully ask. Having had negative experiences with all kinds of imports, the average citizen in Bosnia and Herzegovina tends to be skeptical. However, in a market flooded with various products, consumers ultimately recognize and choose the best based on quality. This is also the case with Meggle. Their milk comes from local pastures — and the proof lies in Tomislavgrad Farm.

Extra-Class Milk

While workers go about their daily tasks, the owner, Damir Pavković, proudly presents the farm. Currently, 40 people are employed there. More than 95% of the produced milk is supplied to Meggle, with deliveries taking place every other day.

“The cooperation is truly excellent. It allows us to remain competitive in the market and provides a great sense of security. Of course, there is also a fair price and regular payments. Without that, it would be very difficult,” says Pavković.

This year, the farm is expected to produce around 3.3 million liters of milk, and with increased capacity, production is projected to exceed 4 million liters next year. The cooperation with Meggle dates back to the very beginning, in 2006.

The farm is located in the immediate vicinity of Tomislavgrad and currently has around 1,100 head of cattle, spread across 150 dunums of land.

The owner proudly emphasizes the quality of the milk:“This is extra-class milk,” Pavković states.

The farm has also received several quality certifications, enhancing its competitiveness in international markets. It was among the first to introduce a computerized system for monitoring the health and productivity of its cows.

At Meggle, they emphasize that their cooperation with Tomislavgrad Farm demonstrates what the entire economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina could look like — from raw material to final product, everything can be achieved using local resources and expertise, thereby creating new value.

The Sales and Marketing Director of Meggle BiH, based in Posušje, Jadranka Penava, highlights that this cooperation shows Meggle is more than just a business:

Farm owner Pavković adds that by purchasing Meggle products, consumers can be confident they are choosing quality:
